In Loving Memory of Irene E. Rinaldi

Irene E. (Staples) Rinaldi passed away peacefully on March 28, 2006 in Boca Raton, FL.  She was the beloved wife of Ignario S. Rinaldi who predeceased her in 1973. Irene was born in Walsall, England to the late Frank and Gladys Staples and came to the United States in 1946 on the S.S. Washington. 

Irene, a former resident of Enfield,CT, had resided in Longmeadow, MA since 1970.  She enjoyed spending time at her residences in Hillsboro Beach, FL and Old Lyme, CT.

Irene is a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow, MA and previously of St. Adalbert’s Church in Enfield, CT.   She was a member of the Regent Daughters of the British Empire and the Bell Weather Club among many other organizations.

Irene, a loving mother and grandmother, will long be remembered by her family and friends for living her life to the fullest.  One of her greatest joys in life was traveling.  She took great pleasure in spending time with her family and friends. 

Irene is survived by her sons, J.Ronald Rinaldi of Longmeadow, MA; Anthony R. Rinaldi and his wife Pamela of Enfield, CT; Carl P. Rinaldi and his wife Sherry of Enfield, CT; her loving grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Joseph, Andrea, Alicia, Elliot, and Adam.   Irene also leaves her companion and caring friend of many years, Ralph Davidson.  She is also survived by her sisters Ruby Breeden of Ware, MA; Janet Pavlovic of Walsall, England; and her brother Robie Staples and his wife Catherine of Enfield, CT.  Irene also leaves 3 brothers-in-law, Salvatore Rinaldi of CO; Carl Rinaldi and his wife Vivian of Longmeadow, MA; Anthony Rinaldi of South Windsor, CT; sister-in-law Frances Rinaldi of Stafford, CT; and several nieces and nephews in the United States and England.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT (Exit 48 off RT91, RT 220 East 1-1/4 miles) Friday 4-8 p.m.  Services in celebration of Irene’s life will be held on Saturday 8am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, Route 5, Longmeadow, MA.  Burial will be in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Enfield, CT.  Memorials in her name may be made to the Pulmonary Division Research and Education Fund ATTN: Dr. Gerald Green; Bay State Medical Center, 759 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01199.  For online expressions, sympathy, or guestbook please visit www.brownefuneralhome.com
